As TPM25 draws to a close, we reflect on a highly successful event for DCSA. This year’s conference marked a significant milestone with the official launch of DCSA+, a new partnership programme designed to drive the adoption of digital standards across the shipping industry. Building on this momentum, we were thrilled to welcome our first two partners in person — Lufthansa Industry Solutions and Vinturas — who are joining us in shaping the future of digital transformation in shipping.By becoming part of DCSA+, both organisations gain access to opportunities to collaborate with industry stakeholders, share insights, and contribute to the development of digital standards that enhance efficiency, interoperability, and resilience across the global shipping ecosystem. Their participation underscores a shared commitment to innovation and industry-wide collaboration. This collaboration is key to unlocking a more seamless, resilient, and efficient supply chain. Through DCSA+, we aim to accelerate the adoption of digital standards — not just for ocean carriers, but for the broader industry. The programme is designed to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders who can actively contribute to shaping and implementing digital standards. This inclusive approach ensures that the solutions developed address a wide range of industry challenges while aligning with evolving market needs. The addition of two service providers in the form of our new partners is an encapsulation of all of this.
Commenting on the partnership signing, Ronald Kleijwegt, CEO at Vinturas said:“Our research shows that business leaders are facing technological integration and security challenges across the board and are in need of industry support to steer global logistics operations back on track. We took this on board, and we're excited to announce our partnership with DCSA, aligning perfectly with our joint commitment to enhancing digital collaboration and interoperability in the supply chain. Vinturas will be launching our own TMS system that adheres to DCSA guidelines, paving the way for seamless integration and improved efficiency across the industry, turning potential challenges into opportunities for a sector in need of a helping hand.”Raid Kokaly, Head of Logistics and Director Shipping Companies at Lufthansa Industry Solutions (LHIND) also commented:“Our proven track record in implementing DCSA standards for shipping lines, combined with our expertise in airline-industry digitalisation, positions us perfectly to help drive innovation across global logistics. By joining DCSA’s partner program, we aim to fulfil our shipping company 4.0 dedication, strengthen collaborations, join forces and accelerate the transition toward a digitalised, transparent and efficient supply chain.”For more information about DCSA+, including how to become a partner, please visit the DCSA+ page.+++About DCSADigital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) is a neutral, non-profit organisation composed of 10 of the largest ocean carriers representing 75% of global trade volume to digitise and standardise the container shipping industry.
