AMSTERDAM, 5 August 2026The Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) announces that Level5Fleet has joined its DCSA+ partnership programme to help advance interoperable digital standards and accelerate the adoption of standards-based container security across the container shipping industry. Level5Fleet is a technology provider specialising in asset security and access control for containers, trailers and other freight assets. Its platform verifies who is authorised to access an asset, physically enforces those permissions, controlling access and movement as conditions change, and records the resulting actions, helping to prevent unauthorised access and cargo theft and to strengthen security across the transport journey. Through DCSA+, Level5Fleet will contribute to the development and implementation of shared industry standards that improve interoperability across the container shipping ecosystem. By participating in DCSA working groups, the company will share practical expertise in asset security and access control while helping shape standards that enable more connected and secure supply chains. As container shipping continues to digitalise, industry-wide standards are increasingly important for enabling consistent data exchange, improving visibility and supporting secure, interoperable operations across carriers and technology providers. Initial collaboration will focus on container security and access control, including trusted custody, physical authorization, and interoperable execution across container movements,  with Level5Fleet contributing practical implementation expertise to support interoperable standards. Peter Stroud, Chief Operating Officer at Level5Fleet, says:” The container shipping industry has made enormous progress digitizing documents, bookings and shipment visibility.
