Currently we provide information from a variety of commercial and public databases. We are continuously expanding and looking for new sources.

The data provided comes from a variety of sources. We do not store company information and take the data directly from the providers. Where possible, we will connect to the authoritative source. The data sources are selected with great care, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the information is up to date or accurate.

The Identity Exchange does not store information, and always requests information in real-time from the connected data sources. Because we don't rely on one source, we are able to provide reliable data for your processes. We do extensive tests to check accuracy and quality but if you encounter any issues, please provide your feedback by clicking 'Report a problem' when you have done a check, or contact us.

This depends on the data source. Some sources are live feeds from the authoritative source (e.g. the European Commission) and for other information we rely on third party providers. Their update frequency is based on feeds from their sources, varying from daily to weekly.

No, we only store your requests for the purpose of assessing the data sources and the way you search. We do not store any output.

We have a strong focus on security and privacy, resulting in strict security principles and guidelines. Every part of the service is continuously monitored and tested, through internal tooling and external partners.

Our coverage is global. However, not all data is available for every country. The quality and depth of data varies by region and country. We are always looking to expand our sources, so if you encounter any issues or have suggestions for coverage, please contact us.

We provide all information we can find about an entity. The objective is to provide you at least with Name, Address, Contact information, Registration Number and VAT / TaxID.
