Members of DCSA

Representing 75% of global container trade

Currently, DCSA membership includes ocean carriers and, through the launch of the DCSA+ shipping programme, is open to a broader range of industry players. With the addition of PIL in April 2024, our 10th member, DCSA now represents approximately 75% of global container trade. These members, along with those in the DCSA+ programme, develop standards jointly with DCSA, contributing time, expertise, and resources to actively support DCSA initiatives. While DCSA members vote on its budget and project priorities, you don’t need to be a member to collaborate with DCSA. You can still make use of the standards for free, participate in standards development, and provide feedback to support future improvements. DCSA’s goal is to produce standards that are beneficial to all parties involved in international trade and to achieve the widest possible adoption of those standards. Input from various types of organisations is valued and considered when defining and updating standards.
