DCSA Publishes Release 1.1 of Track & Trace Open API Definitions
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, March 26, 2020 – Release 1.1 of the Open API definitions for customer facing track and trace events is an update aimed to improve and standardise error handling cross implementations. It now includes all relevant HTTP response codes that are consistent with standard error messages, such as ‘400 – Bad Request’ and ‘404 – Not found’.
On the DCSA GitHub page, an overview of all error messages can be found. If carriers wish to have additional error codes not listed in the DCSA Open API definitions to handle specific messages, they can add them on their own when implementing the API.
